Strike pads on DM10?
« on: September 07, 2017, 06:51:16 AM »
Hi everyone,

I'm thinking up 'upgrading' my DM10. I want to practice more, but the main reason i don't do it on my DM10 is i really dislike the 8" pads all around. Besides that, i have issues with the tom pads; the volume in the pads varies greatly, i suspect that the conversion to mesh heads has something to do with this. Tried different settings in the module, doesn't work.

I now see on Thomann.de that you can order Strike pads (8, 10 and 12) and was thinking of getting 2 10" pads and 2 12" pads. I just wonder if they'll work with the DM10 module out of the box?

Besides that also thinking of getting the Pro X Hi-hat controller to finish the upgrade :)

Duh... googled for DM10 pads and found the mesh pads (the same as on the strike pro, but in black) on the site and it says that they work with most modules. So I'm assuming that they work with the DM10 as well ;)
